This short story ties into Felix Gilman’s The Half-made World, a forthcoming steampunk novel set in an alternate American West. At 2:00 PM we’ll be giving away copies of Boneshaker by Cherie Priest. For those of you who can’t make it out to San Diego this year, keep an eye on the @torbooks Twitter as we’ll have a couple of giveaways running that week.

Did anyone else notice that Nathan Fillion was wearing the Brute Force clockwork arm and what might be a Mad Girl leather vest on last night's steampunk Castle episode? I'm guessing he picked them up when he was at Comic Con.

Yes, I loved it when he got all dressed up! Sadly, he didn't buy the arm. If you watch the club scene again http://www.hulu.com/watch/184337/castle-punked#s-p1-so-i0 You'll see it being worn by Thomas. I believe he supplied a few pieces in the scene. I was happy to see so many Southern California steampunks in that scene as well, looking quite dapper!
